My little trip to Torbay
Recently, i have been on holiday to the south of England, in Devon. I went to the area of Torbay which is made up of 3, popular and attractive towns. Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.
Torquay is the main town and hosts the night-life and shopping, as well as restaurants, amusements and small independant shops. Torquay has its own beach, ideal for good weather.
Paignton is the seaside town, which boasts a long, attractive beach, with different shops, amusements and bars located in the town.
Brixham is more quiet and secluded. The hilly area makes for nice scenery across the harbour. Brixham is mainly famous for its fishing industry and restaurants. This is for a more relaxed break.
I stayed in paignton, on a caravan site called Marine Park, owned by Beverley holidays. I enjoyed my experience a lot and would recommend this area, as well as the caravan site, to others. Devon is a beautiful country and provides all for a family holiday, lads weekend or a relaxing break.

A view of the beautiful Torquay, my apologies for the poor picture quality.

My little trip to Tenerife
The reason why i have not been very active these past couple of weeks is due to my trip to Tenerife of the 15th July. I went to Los Christianos with a friend and believe this or not, my first time travelling abroad! We stayed in the Arona Gran Hotel and in all honesty, it was the best week of my life. The weather was perfect, the area and scenery was perfect and the hotel was very good quality. I can understand why it is classed as a 4-star hotel. The flight was suprisingly quick only taking 4 hours, as i thought the flight time may have been longer. I would reccomend Los Christianos as a very good choice for a family holiday, or even a holiday with mates. This is because of Playas De Americas, a strip of bars, shops and nightclubs around a 20 minute walk from Los Christianos, perfect for a night out to remember! I realy enjoyed my time away but i am pleased to be back and blogging again.

Running a Marathon: Update
As it has been around 3 weeks since i last posted about my running, i feel although i should give an update on how i am progressing.
I have been sticking to my running and been jogging lightly around 2/3 times a week, stepping up as the days progress. Having started back from a months break, i have been boxing for 1 week now, which helps greatly with fitness. I am planning on stepping up the intensity of my running as the future comes. However, i have been struck with a minor back injury, towards the left side of my lower back, which could slow my progress. I am unsure what this is and am slightly concerned on whether to ignore the pain and fight through it, or contact a doctor.
The exercise side of things i am totally fine with, but its the diet part that i struggle with. I just cannot seem to eat the right foods. Is there any tips or hints to help me improve my diet? This will help with both my running and my boxing.
Thank you very much for all the support.

A Childhood Favourite: Crash Bandicoot 3 - Warped
A game that always stands out as a classic for me, is the legendary Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. I used to be totally addicted and played the game at least once a day without fail.
Once again going with the theme of 'The old uns' are the best,' this game provides a lot of action and excitement. With an interesting campaign mode and a range of character than could suit any age, this game could keep anyone entertained for ages. This game is the third of the series, my personal favourite because of the variety of levels, underwater adventures, jungle mazes and racing levels allow you to never get bored.
There are more additions to the Crash Bandicoot series but i feel that they do not have the same effect upon me, as this game bring back many memories. In modern times, this game could be very cheap and easy to purchase as it is on a Playstation 1. It is a recommended purchase to relive some memories!

Drake - Marvin's Room
Normally, i am not into this genre of music. However, this song caught my eyes because the typical audience would consider Drake to be a masculine, gangster character. This song portrays drakes romantic side, with a slow, chilled feel. I really like this song as it goes against the norm and shows Drake in a different light. The beat is catchy and i feel Drake has a voice that could potentially attract the audience. This song is yet to be released on an album due to the fact it is a relatively new song.
I would recommend you to check it out even if you are not a Drake fan.

Running a Marathon
Throughout the past 3/4 weeks i have been jogging with a friend around 2 to 4 times per week. This is because i hope to run a marathon or half marathon in the future for a charity that helps an illness called Lupus, a disease one of my close friend's mother suffers with. I will begin to start off with light training and become more and more intense as time progresses. I am really hoping I've got the commitment and self discipline to stick at it and hopefully finish. I was wondering is there any diet tips or exercise programmes to help me and my friend along our journeys?
